    Hi, my name is Aly. I'm a professional wedding and portrait photographer. My professional career as a photographer started out back in 2010 when my sister Beth started a page on fb as a hobby that featured some of her photography work. After having my first child I decided to join her on her quest! My focus turned from full time teacher to full time Mom and part time photographer. After receiving many referrals and requests for family and wedding photos, we ventured into a business started off being "just for fun" to part time job. I love that every business has a story, just like every wedding has a story. I don't think I've shot a wedding where I didn't get teary-eyed. From the vows, to the speeches every wedding is so unique with one common factor: love and commitment. We LOVE serving all of our clients. Although wedding photography is my passion and focus, I also love shooting families, seniors and children from time to time. Enjoy my blog :)

Dan & Lauren {Denver Botanic Gardens Wedding}

Have you ever dreamed of having a small, quaint wedding with only your closest friends and family?  That’s exactly what Dan & Lauren did.  This wedding was a dream.  Tucked away at the Denver Botanic Gardens was a beautiful green house filled with the most beautiful flowers and plants.  A beautiful venue with a couple to match.  Congratulations Dan & Lauren.

Baker Wedding {Pueblo, CO}

I’m admitting it, I shed a few tears during this wedding.  What a sweet union between Zach & Julia.  They wrote their own vows and included their son in the ceremony, I don’t think there was a dry eye in the place.  From the look on Zach’s face seeing Julia walk down the aisle to the sweet kiss from Zach’s Mom, this wedding was one to remember.

Bell Tower Wedding {Downtown Denver}

Sweet young love…doesn’t get much better than that really.  I love the anxiety, the anticipation on the morning that you’re supposed to marry your very best friend, the one you will be with forever.  This wedding day was filled with just that.  Jadan and Olivia had their wedding at the Clock Tower in Downtown Denver.  What a spectacular place to have your wedding, it was filled with old world charm, beauty and history just perfect for their wedding.  Congratulations Olivia and JB, thank you for letting me be part of you day!

Things to look for: Olivia’s beautiful t-length dress and vintage hair style (she’s simply gorgeous).  Also, you’ll see in the photos of her getting ready (hotel room) the Clock Tower can be seen in the background.  This was a total coincidence, they were not expecting to have such a great view when they booked the hotel.  What a treat!  Oh, one more thing…after Olivia’s Father walks her down the isle, you can see him whisper something into Jadan’s ear.  Wonder what it was? Either way, I found it to be so sweet.

Michael & Nicole {Mexico destination wedding}

Since it’s Friday I thought I would flashback to one of my most favorite weddings. Not only are these two lovely people family, I also got to capture their wedding story. Beach weddings are just beautiful but not as beautiful as this couple’s love for each other. I love hearing Nicole laugh and smile around Michael and I love the way Michael looks at Nicole. Their story will forever be remembered and cherished.
